Ah, the trials and tribulations of weight loss. We all have our goals, but why are they so hard to achieve?
More importantly, why does it take us so long to reach our goals? There’s nothing more frustrating than dedicating time and energy into a plan that isn’t taking us anywhere.
For those who have had it with their slow weight loss journey, we’re here to help. It’s time to get you feeling confident and better than ever!
Most rapid weight loss regimes are unhealthy and dangerous. So, we’ve compiled a list of our 5 best tips for losing weight quickly, and more importantly, safely.
1. Juice It Up
You’ve probably seen some these cleanses flooded through your Instagram or Facebook. Why are they so popular? Because they actually work!
Juices are a great way to get your nutritional fix, without having to really stomach the foods you don’t like. (We’re looking at you, Kale and Spinach).
Try subbing a juice blend for breakfast. Use a blender that retains the entire juice of the fruit or vegetable to maximize the nutritional content.
2. Eat More, Not Less
Bet you didn’t think you’d see this one, did you? That’s because most people have the misconception you have to starve for rapid weight loss.
That’s entirely not true. In fact, that will even set you back because all you’re doing is messing with your water weight. Once, you eat again, you’ll just blow up.
But, too much snacking can also cause you to pack on pounds. The best way to make sure you’re eating enough through the day is to focus on smaller, more consistent meals.
3. Start Somewhere
If you’re just beginning your journey, it may be a little too much to just cut out all junk food. But, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t take baby steps.
Instead, start with what you can cut out whether it be sweets, pop, or salty snacks. In many cases, people are able to lose weight by just eliminating some core items.
4. High-Intensity Workouts
One of the main squabbles we have about working out is that we simply don’t have enough time. So, the counter solution to that is to take less time for your exercise activities.
Instead of maxing out after 2 hours, try a more strenuous activity in a less amount of time. The goal here is to work harder, not longer.

5. Track Yourself
Often times, we truly don’t recognize our food consumption unless it’s right in front of us. Tracking your intake can be the smack in the face you need.
This will also help you count everything you’re consuming. We tend to forget about calories that aren’t right in our face- dressings, sauces, even quick 2-bite snacks.
6. Hilly Walks
The last workout tip we’ll leave you with is to walk, not run, up and down hills.
The reason we say not to run is that walking is actually much more successful in burning fat. Running helps you burn calories but walking contributes more to carb and fat loss.
Throw in the incline/decline of a hill because that’s where your calorie loss will come in. Basically, you’re achieving more fat loss with less effort.
We don’t know about you but that sure sounds like a plan to us.
